Air Duct Cleaning

Ordinary household dust and pet hair settle first, pulled in through return grilles and worked into the sheet metal or flex duct over months of running the system. In a climate that sits around 75 percent humidity for most of the year, condensation inside a duct run that never fully dries can also feed microbial growth, which is a different problem than dust and needs a different answer. A technician who has actually opened the duct run can tell the two apart. One is a cosmetic and airflow issue. The other affects what a household is breathing every time the blower kicks on.

Being honest about when it is not worth doing

Not every house needs its ducts cleaned on a schedule, and Country Air inspects before recommending anything rather than selling a clean by default. A newer, well sealed system with a properly maintained filter often does not need it. A system that has run for years with a neglected filter, or a home with recent renovation dust, visible growth, or a persistent musty smell, usually does. The inspection is what decides it, not a flat sales pitch.
